How old do you have to be to reserve a room?

This is an adults-only hotel. The person who holds the reservation under their name must be at least 25 years old or older and staying for the duration of the booking.  All occupants must be at least 18-years-old. 

Is Surf Club a hotel?

Surf Club consists of individual units that operate similar to an Airbnb .  We are independent of our neighboring hotels. 

What comes with the room?

Each room features a king size bed, a Roku television, a mini refrigerator, a private bathroom with a rainfall shower, individual a.c. unit, a blow dryer and toiletries. 

We provide one set of linens, two sets of towels, and three toilet paper rolls.  Surf Club does not provide housekeeping service, extra amenities or trash removal during your stay.  Trash may be disposed of in the receptacles behind the building.  Please plan accordingly and bring any extra towels, linens and/or supplies you may need.

How do I check-in?

Check in time is 4 p.m.  Guests will be sent a registration card to fill out online the day prior to arrival.  License, credit card information and payment must be processed in order to receive room number and access code. Guests who do not complete the digital registration will not receive access codes or entry to their room.

Can I check in early?

Check in time is 4 p.m.  We will do our best to get you in your room as soon as it is ready.  

Is there a front desk?
The Surf Club operates entirely virtually and does not have a front desk. For assistance, please call us at (609) 236-7407 or email us at surfclubocnj@gmail.com.

Is there parking?
Each room includes one parking pass, which will be available upon your arrival. Please note that parking is offsite, located at 820 Central Ave.

Who do I contact during my stay if I have any questions?

We encourage guests to communicate all questions and concerns via text message.  A live host will be on standby to provide you with any assistance you may need during your stay.  You will receive a message upon arrival with check in instructions and other useful information. 

How do I check out?

Check out time is 11 a.m.  Access codes and parking passes will be void after check out time on the date of departure.  

What about the pool?

Guests have access to the pool at our sister hotel, The Forum, right across the street.  Pool hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What is within walking distance?  

Surf Club is just one block away from the beach and boardwalk; only a few blocks away from Ocean City’s downtown shopping and restaurant district on Asbury Avenue; and a 5 minute car ride (15 min bike) over the bridge for drinks at some local bars in Somers Point.

What is the cancellation policy?

The surf club does not allow cancellations for booked stays. All bookings are final.
